Description
RFQ - BAKING AND ROASTING PANS 1a. NSN: 7330-00-286-8069 (Dated 4/23/09)-PAN, BAKING AND ROASTING: Shall have the following characteristics: DIMENSIONS. The pan shall be 18 inches X 24 inches X 4-1/2 inches, top outside dimensions, ± 1/16 inch. The minimum thickness of the pan shall be 0.100 inch (10 gauge) measured at any point within the bottom of the pan except for an area to include the edge (corner) and up to 1 inch from the edge (corner). CONSTRUCTION. The pan shall be formed seamless from a single piece of 3000 series aluminum alloy and shall be provided with handles. Handles shall be of the drop-chest type and shall be securely attached to the pan body. Handles shall have a minimum width of 4 inches and minimum diameter of 0.250 inch. The handles shall have a minimum of 1-1/2 inches clearance from the pan when in the horizontal position (90 degrees from the side of the pan). The handles shall be constructed from corrosion-resisting steel wire, chrome-plated carbon steel, or tinned steel wire. The pan shall be reinforced with two stainless steel or tinned steel straps, extending lengthwise along the outside bottom and up the end walls. Each strap shall measure 1 inch minimum width and 0.0827 inch (13 gauge) minimum thickness, and shall be securely attached by two aluminum alloy rivets at each end of each strap. The pans shall nest and not bind when stacked. The pan shall have an open bead and shall have a one-half bead with an inside radius of 1/8 inch minimum. 1b.NSN: 7330-00-634-4494 (Dated 4/23/09) - PAN, BAKING AND ROASTING: Shall have the following characteristics: DIMENSIONS.
