Description
Solicitation AG-82X9-S-09-0248 is for the Farley and Stackow Isolated Cabin Removal Project. This project consists of the demolition and removal of two cabins as well as two pit toilets. All debris shall be removed from the project sites. All disturbed areas shall be graded, scarified, seeded, mulched, and rehabilited to a near natural condition as directed by the Forest Service. Both isolated cabins are located on the Boulder Ranger District. Stackow and Farley cabins are not located on the same site. The Stackow Isolated Cabin is located as follows; from Rollinsville, take Highway 119 south for a distance of approximately one mile. Turn right (south) onto Cindy Lane. Continue on Cindy Lane for a distance of approximately one mile. The turnout for the cabin is located on the west side of Cindy Lane. The coordinates of the structures are: N 39° 53’ 38.4’’, W 105° 29’ 39.5’’. The Farley Isolated Cabin is located as follows; from Nederland, take Highway 119 South approximately two miles. Then follow Highway 132-W west approximately 1.5 miles, and take the left branch where the road splits. Continue for approximately 0.5 miles, and take a right on the first available road. The structures are located at the end of the road. The coordinates of the structures are N 39o 56’ 30.2” W 105o 31’ 18.4”. There will be a pre-proposal meeting on this project. The time and date for the meeting will be announced via an amendment to this announcement and they will also be included on the solicitation package. The project time is 45 calendar days. The desired start date is as soon as practical after contract award. This project is set aside for service disabled veteran concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 138910. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for this project on or around August 7, 2009. The due date for proposals will be on or around September 7, 2009. This date will be confirmed in the solicitation package. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to cschofield@fs.fed.us or via facsimile to 970-295-6699. Only written questions will be addressed. All Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor’s Registry (CCR) in accordance with FAR 52.207-4 to be considered for award. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance with FAR 52.204-8 to be considered for award. All Offerors must address all Evaluation Criteria in Section M to be considered for award. Offerors who fail any of these requirements will be considered unresponsive and will not be considered in the Technical Evaluation of proposals.
