Description
RECOVERY - This notice is provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 ("ARRA"), Contract Options B.8.3.6, B.8.3.3, B.8.3.4, B.8.3.7, B.8.4.3/B.8.4.4, B.8.4.7 have been exercised in accordance with FAR 17.207(a)(4) and GSAM 517.2 (Exercise of Options) and the award of Supplemental Services in accordance with FAR 43.103(b)(3) for Construction Manager (CM) Services for the Major Modernization of the Herbert C. Hoover Building, located in Washington, DC, under Contract No. GS-11P-03-MKD-0082, Modification PS05 with Jacobs Facilities, Inc. The Construction Manager Services under Option Options B.8.3.6, B.8.3.3, B.8.3.4, B.8.3.7, B.8.4.3/B.8.4.4, and B.8.4.7, and supplemental services is fully funded by the ARRA in the amount of $6,556,668. This project is a complete renovation of the entire building and includes replacement of all engineering systems, upgrades to include improved energy efficiency, abatement of hazardous materials, providing for ADA compliance, etc. This project will occur in eight construction phases, with this action representing the exercise of options and supplemental services for Construction Management during construction of Phase 2 and Phase 3.
