- NASA/SSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following Commercialitem/services: One (1) each multi-channel digital video recording system to includeinstallation and one (1) year of warranty of product/install for delivery at the John C.Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. The work to be performed under this requirementconsists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the recordingsystem to record multiple cameras simultaneously during a live event. The system shallbe able to interface to non-linear editor (NLE) (provided by NASA) and the system and/orNLE will interface to an existing SAN at the NASA facility. FOB is destination. This requirement will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Commercial SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. It is anticipatedthat only one award will be made for this requirement, and any resulting award shall bemade in the form of a single award firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The estimated periodof performance or lead-time for delivery is 30-90 days from the effective date ofcontract award.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334220 and 750 employees, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about August 3, 2009, with ananticipated proposal due date of on or about August 26, 2009. All contractual andtechnical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail or fax) toadrianne.peyton@nasa.gov or by fax (228) 688-6024. Telephone questions will not beaccepted. The firm date for receipt of written questions and proposal due date will bestated in the subsequent RFP. The RFP and any related documents will only be issued electronically and will beavailable via the internet. These documents may be accessed and downloaded at the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) Business Opportunities website @http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/nais/link_syp.cgi or at the Federal BusinessOpportunities (FedBizOpps) website @ http://www.fbo.gov.
