Description
APC Bid Schedule Brand Name Justification This acquisition is 100% set-aside for woman-owned small business. The NAICS code is 423610 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The Defense Logistics Agency-Battle Creek Contracting Services Office has a requirement for APC uninterruptable power supplies as set for in the attached EXCEL spreadsheet. Inspection, acceptance and F.O.B. are at Destination, Battle Creek, Michigan. Required delivery of all items is 30 days after receipt of a signed order. Standard commercial packaging to ensure safe arrival at destination applies. This acquisition is NOT subject to wide area workflow. A government purchase card will not be used to effect payment to the contractor. Award criterion is lowest price, technically acceptable. The Government is soliciting new equipment only. Quotations based upon remanufactured or refurbished equipment as defined FAR 11.001 are unacceptable and will be rejected. No equipment is available for trade-in or exchange. The Buy American Act (41 U.S.C. 10a-10d) does not apply to this acquisition. This acquisition qualifies for the Buy American Act exemption found at FAR 25.103(e). FAR Subpart 25.4, “Trade Agreements” does not apply to this acquisition. This acquisition qualifies for the small business set-aside exception found at FAR 25.401(a) (1). Include a copy of the standard commercial warranty with your quotation. Receipt of your quotation is due no later than Friday, July 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. Send your quotation and copy of the commercial warranty to David.Straughn@dla.mil, or you may fax your quotation and commercial warranty to 269-961-4226, ATTN: DCSO-B/David Straughn. Prospective offerors are advised to be vigilant and monitor FEDBIZOPS for possible amendments and subsequent award information. No telephone calls accepted either pre-award or post-award.
