- Item 0001: NSN: 3940-01-235-2568, Part Number 856A2509G04, Beam, Hoisting. Item 0002: Proof Load Certificate IAW applicable drawing and specifications. Item 0003: Tech Manuals (Commercial off the Shelf). The Hoisting Beam used to lift the CFM56 series engines for repairs and replacements. Dimensions are 91" long, 18" wide, 19.25" high and weight 742 lbs. Requirement is for three (3) each in the basic year with four (4) annual quantity options for one to three (1-3) each. Delivery is 180 days ARO Contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 30 July 2009, with response due 28 August 2009. The RFP will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. The technical data required to respond to the RFP will also be available at www.fedbizopps.gov. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may access the data. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included.
