Description
This requirement is for the procurement of NSN: 1730-01-301-3127 RN; Part Number: 16A23034-811; NOUN: Adapter, Ground Hand; DELIVERY: 210 DAYS ARO; FUNCTION: Used to facilitate the handling/transportation of the engines on F-16 A/B/C/D aircraft by connecting to a rail-type trailer. First Article quantity: 1 each plus data associated with the First Article testing. Production quantity: 6 each. Manuals required. This requirement is for basic quantity of 6 ea with three annual quantity options for: Option I- 1-2 each; Option II- 1-2 each; Option III- 1-2 each. Assets shall be shipped FOB Destination. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 8 August 2009. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage ( http://www.fbo.gov/ ). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. Technical data is available and will be posted with the solicitation. All questions regarding the RFP and/or the data packages MUST be submitted in writing to Brandi.Matlock@robins.af.mil with copy to Tara.Odom@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to http://www.fbo.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. Numbered notes 1 and 26 apply.
