- PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: Fort Campbell Directorate of Contracting intends to solicit a requirement for Renovation/Addition to Memorial Chapel, Building 3934, Fort Campbell, KY. Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete project as stated in specifications. Contractor shall be responsible for a building addition and renovation including selective demolition of exterior and interior masonry walls, and replacement of skylight glazing operable partitions, carpet, floor tile and ceiling tiles. New work shall consist of adding a shingle roof, composite insulation board, metal deck, light gage trusses, brick veneer/steel stud walls, EIFS, gypsum board on metal stud partitions, suspended acoustical ceilings, solid wood doors, metal doors and steel frames, aluminum storefronts and windows, carpet tile, ceramic tile, painting, lighting, HVAC units and ductwork, electrical work, fire alarm and sprinkler system, and site work to include sidewalks, paving and utilities. Contract will be firm fixed price. Estimated price range is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code applicable to this procurement is 236220. The small business size standard for this requirement is $33.5M. Period of performance is 180 calendar days. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contactors must be registered their firms at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The solicitation is anticipated to be available on or about 31 July 2009 and close on 31 August 2009. The solicitation number for this project is W91248-09-B-0001.
