- Using Recovery Act Funding, the Mobile District intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the replacement of six courtesy docks (floating docks) and walkways at West Point Lake Project Office, West Point, Georgia. Utilizing American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds, this contract will upgrade and add the following: Contractor to provide all materials, supplies, equipment and labor for the construction, delivery and placing into operation courtesy docks at six locations within the West Point Lake Project. The Courtesy Dock locations are: R. Shaefer Heard C/G (Dock and 40 walkway); Glass Bridge Park (Dock & 60 walkway); Holiday C/G (Creek Side) (Dock & 60 walkway); Holiday C/G (River Side) (Dock & 40 walkway); Amity C/G (Dock & 60 walkway); Evansville Park (Dock & 40 walkway). It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded. This procurement is set aside for small business under NAICS 488390. For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $7,000,000.00 for the past three years. It will be issued on/about 28 Jul 09. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in printed format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. It is the offerors responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting to include any changes (amendments to the solicitation). The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) contains specific acquisition requirements that must be met when using funds appropriated by the Act.
