22 JUL MNS Site Visit Questions & Answers (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This solicitation, F2S3C59117A001, shall serve as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii)This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-33 (Effective 15 Jul 2009). (iv)This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 561621 and the small business size standard is $12.5 Million. (v-vi) The following commercial item(s) is/are requested in this solicitation; 0001 - MASS NOTIFICATION SYSTEM. To Include The Following: 1 EA MASS NOTIFICATION PANEL W/TELEPHONE CONTROL MODULE; 1 EA REMOTE LOC MICROPHONE STATION WITH 8 MESSAGE BUTTONS AND HVAC SHUTDOWN SWITCH; 12 EA MASS NOTIFICATION SPEAKER CEILING MOUNT; 6 EA MASS NOTIFICATION SPEAKER/AMBER STROBE COMBINATIONS CEILING MOUNT; 2 EA WEATHER RESISTANT HORN LOUDSPEAKER; 1 LOT CLASS A WIRE AND CABLE; 1 LOT CLASS A RACEWAY/CONDUIT. LABOR AND INSTALLATION COST OF ALL THE ABOVE LISTED INCLUDED. (The Mass Notification System must be UFC 04-021-01 compliant. Refer to Chapters 5 of the attached UFC 04-021-01 document [All UFC documents available at http://65.204.17.188/report/doc_ufc.html]. The MNS system design and wiring must meet NFPA 72 requirements for MNS and fire alarm systems. The MNS must be compatible with the Simplex Fire Alarm and Monaco BT2-3 Transceiver currently in place.) QTY: 1 Lump Sum (vii)The contractor shall complete the delivery of supplies within 30 calendar days after receipt of order. FOB: Destination for delivery to Little Rock AFB, AR 72099. (viii)The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. (ix)The clause at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items; Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the Best Value (i.e. price, warranty, lifespan of item, environmental/energy efficiency considerations, delivery terms, etc…). (x)The provision at FAR 52.212-3 (Alternate I), Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror’s representations and certifications must up to date on the ORCA website (https://orca.bpn.gov/).
