Description

Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Albuquerque, NM intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C 234(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source to Avon Protection Systems, Inc, 1369 Brass Mill Road, Suite A, Belcamp, MD 21017 for the procurement of Joint Service General Protective Mask (JSGPM) FM50 and related items. These JSGPM’s are DoD prescribed NATO-standard replacement for the M40/42, MCU-2/P and M45 series respirators. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) for this product is 339113. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and there will not be a solicitation issued for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement providing clear and concise documentation indicating their bona fide capability to provide these items by Thrusday 6 August 2009, 12:00 MST which shall be considered.
