- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - Tyndall AFB, FL Airfield Paving - RFI # TYN092052 This presolicitation notice serves to obtain interest in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for repairs and construction of airfield pavements at Tyndall AFB, Florida. This contract period of performance is anticipated at one (1) basic year and four (4) option years. The magnitude of the Basic Performance Period and each Option Period combined is more than $1,000,000 and less than $10,000,000. The proposed duration of the contract will include basic contract period of 365 calendar days and four one year options. The anticipated minimum guaranteed amount of the proposed contract is estimated to be $200,000 for the life of the contract. Interested organizations shall submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform airfield pavement projects in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:30 p.m. CST on August 7, 2009. Please reference RFI # in all communications. At a minimum, the statement should include: 1) Offeror point of contact information to include name, phone, email; 2) Related airfield or other paving projects german to the requirement (commercial or Federal); and 3) company size status. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009 in order to receive award.
