- This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officer to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.00. Further in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, it is intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to award a sole source purchase order to Harris Corporation. The acquisition is for the upgrade and repair of the existing Stingray systems which were manufactured by Harris Corporation and for which Harris Corporation holds sole proprietary rights. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is July 31, 2009 at 9:00 AM EST.
