- Description
- RECOVERY -- Award under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 under Tactical Power Systems/Generator category. The objective of this effort is to scale-up and enhance the capabilities of a deposition system for the production of large areas solid-oxide fuel cells and other energy related applications. The effort will work to extend system capabilities for rapid deposition over larger areas, enabling the production of large area cells. This action was not awarded as a fixed price contract type because of uncertainties involved in contract performance did not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixe price contract. As such, a cost-reimbursement type actions was awarded. (FAR 16.301-2).
