Description
This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking interested businesses for competitive consideration. The Southeast Regional Contracting Office is conducting a market survey to determine the sizes and types of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract for maintenance services on Sterrad System Sterilizers, ecn: J1209, G4426, I3561, J1036, G4602, I1375, J2997, G4170; and Warming Units J0309 and G3500. The performance period will be for one year. The place of performance is Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. The contract will be to provide inclusive hardware and software preventive and remedial support equipment. Preventive maintenance inspections shall include all services necessary, including calibrations and parts replacement, to keep the equipment in serviceable condition. Contractor shall follow the manufacturer's recommendations and requirements in scope and execution. Performance shall be measured by the achievement of a minimum of 98% up-time standard over the course of the contract period. On call remedial maintenance is the service requested by Medical Maintenance through the contractor's point of contact and is required to restore equipment to an operational condition within the manufacturer's specifications. All tools, test equipment, parts, and supplies necessary to return the equipment to original operating specifications will be the responsibility of contractor. Test equipment will have a current calibration traceable to National Bureau of Standards. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 with a size standard of $7M. Responses should include: (1) identification of company size status, certifications (e.g., HUBZone, SDVOSB, or if you are a small business, a self-certification); (2) if you are a Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB firm considering a joint venture, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the cognizant SBA office for approval; (3) proof of experience and capability. NOTE: This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received by 4:30 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, 5 August 2009 will be considered by the Government.
