Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z4539160AC01; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-35 effective 15 Jul 09 ; Defense DCN 20090715 effective 15 Jul 09, and AFAC 2009-0318 effective 18 March 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333415. The business size standard is 750 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 4520. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3714. Travis AFB has a requirement for Forced Cirulating Heating System. The block heater is for a Cummins KTA-38 engine, in accordance with the attached item list: 0001-AA : F3ZT899154A001 5 Ea Forced Cirulating Heating System CSS10908-000 or Equal The block heater is for a Cummins KTA-38 engine with an advertized Horse Power rating of 1195. The fluid to be heated is a mixture of 50% glycol and 50% water. Power is 9 kilowatts. Voltage is 208 volts 1 phase at 60 Hertz. Pump flow rate will be 10 GPM @ 10 ft of head and inlet and outlet openings will be NPT at 1 inch. The system will have a NEMA 2 rating and have an adjustable temperature between 65-140 degrees Fahrenheit. Systems will be UL listed. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
