Description
This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award. Pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C 637(a)) in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.8 in accordance with SBA accetance letter dated 14 May 2009 the following project will be awarded to an 8a contractor Statement of Work. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, materials, equipment and related services necessary to provide project management, exhibit planning, design, production, testing, fabrication, installation and personnel training for exhibit elements, audiovisuals, interpretive signs and related media for the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center. It is assumed that exhibit design will involve the retention, modification and/or elimination of existing exhibits. All work to be performed under this contract shall be in accordance with industry standards unless otherwise specified.
