Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following Portable Refrigerated Cooling Unit manufactured by Electro Impulse Laboratory, 1805 Route 33, P.O. Box 278 Neptune, NJ 07754-0278. Although this is a Sole Source requirement, Authorized Resellers are encouraged to provide quotations. Item No. 1, Qty 1, Desc. Electro Impulse Model 62600 Refrigerated cooling Unit. Note: this is a Sole Source requirement and no substitutes will be considered. The specifications for this requirement are as follows: Mode of Operation - refrigeration, air cooled condenser; Number of Paths - one; Heat Load - 10,200 Watts (34,812 BTUH); Coolant - deionized water; Coolant Flow Rate - 12 to 15 GPM total; Coolant Supply Temperature - 77F nominal; Supply Temperature Stability - +/- 10F; Coolant Supply Pressure - 110 PSI; Prime Input Power - 208 to 230V 3 phase 60Hz; Filtration (bypassing) - deionizer filter, oxygen removal filter, particulate filer,.5 micron; Coolant Connections - 1 inch NPT bulkhead with inch NPT bushings; Environment - indoors; Construction - commercial unit; Miscelaneous - standard interlock package. All items are to be priced Open Market or GSA only, no other methods will be accepted. Delivery is required within 4 months of award. The warranty shall cover 12 months from delivery. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date is 12 August 2009 at 1200, noon, Eastern Time. Anticipated Award date is 18 August 2009. All items shall be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE.
