- This acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00104-09-Q-Q958, which is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611420. The government intends to procure the following onsite training on Retina Network Security Scanner and REM Security Management Console. Training is designated for DoD SCCVI, Gold Disk and Security Technical Implementation (STIG). The requirement is for four (4) separate classes on separate days for a total of 52 people. The trainer is to provide the training laptops. The requirement consists of the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): CLIN 0001: Part #: Educ-Site-xx-00001-xm, Class One - Onsite Retina Enterprise Two Day Training for 13 people, CLIN 0002: Part #: Educ-Site-xx-00001-xm, Class Two - Onsite Retina Enterprise Two Day Training for 13 people, CLIN 0003: Part #: Educ-Site-xx-00001-xm, Class Three - Onsite Retina Enterprise Two Day Training for 13 people, and CLIN 0004: Part #: Educ-Site-xx-00001-xm, Class Four - Onsite Retina Enterprise Two Day Training for 13 people. Classes are for the Military Sealift Command (MSC) and they will be held at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. MSC will provide the training facilities. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: Time of Delivery. (6/97); FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (a) FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, Alternate I (Offerors must submit a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offer); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, (a), (b)(1), (5), (7), (11-16), (21), (24), (d) and (e). Quotes must be received by no later than 5:00 PM EST, Tuesday, August 4, 2009 and shall be emailed to amy.rich@navy.mil (any attachments should be in Word, Rich Text Format, or PDF) and must not exceed 2MB.
