- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to: Unisys CorporationFederal Systems11720 Plaza America Drive, Tower IIIReston, VA 20190-4757 The Office of the Chief Information Officer, Bureau of Indian Affairs, has a requirement for maintenance service, as needed, for a Unisys CS7201 System. This is a Requirements contract, Time and Material Basis, the value of which shall not exceed $10,000. This procurement requires knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in diagnosing system malfunctions; the vendor must be capable of obtaining the proper parts for repair. In the event of malfunction, the offeror shalll provide parts and labor to repair the system. Given the nature of the requirement, Unisys Corporation is the best source, and are uniquely capable of providing the required parts and services. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No formal solicitation shall be issued.
