- TITLE: Upper Smith Creek Culvert Replacement NFSR 991 MP 5.20 SCOPE OF WORK: The project replaces an existing culvert for improved aquatic organism passage and improved hydraulic capacity on the Livingston Ranger District, Gallatin National Forest, in Meagher County, Montana. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project involves replacement of an existing 83” x 57” Corrugated Steel Pipe-Arch with a new 5’9” Rise by 18’-0” Span Structural Plate Arch with precast concrete footings. Other work includes replacement of an existing cattleguard and miscellaneous local road work. LOCATION OF PROJECT: The project is located approximately 20 miles northeast of Wilsall, MT. From just north of Wilsall along US Hwy 89, turn right onto the Shields River Road and follow for approximately 16 miles to the Smith Creek Road #991. Turn left onto the Smith Creek Road and follow it for 5.2 miles to the project site. The project is located in the SW/14 of Section 31, T.6 N., R.10 E.; Meagher County, Montana. PRICE RANGE: Between $100,000 and $250,000 It is anticipated the solicitation and all materials for this project will be posted August 13, 2009.
