- Description
- The purpose of this project is to reduce fire hazard on the Scott/Salmon River Ranger Districts, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Project will involve felling trees and cutting brush as a site preparation treatment to remove wildfire killed or damaged trees and brush; removing dead down and dead felled vegetation, via skyline yarding; constructing landings for yarded material to be processed and prepared for transport and transport of yarded material to predetermined storage/landing sites. Solicitation will be a Request for Proposal requiring both a price and technical proposal responding to the evaluation criteria as shown in the solicitation. If an organized site visit is held the date and time will be shown in the solicitation. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about August 13, 2009.
