Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPS and NBC website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov). The solicitation number is Q8362090159 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. It is the vendors responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be assessed at http://www.arnet.gov/far and http://www.ios.doi.gov. The following FAR clauses and provisions are applicable to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial ItemsFAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial ItemsFAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. Clauses included are:52.235.01 Buy American Act - Supplies52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - Centract Contractor Registration52.232-34 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - Other Than Central Contractor Registration52.239.01 Privacy or Security Safeguards Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 with their offer. This solicitation is not set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The associated NAICS code for this solicitation is 334220 - Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing (size standard: 750 employees). The National Park Service requires VHF Portable Radios and accessories. This is a brand-name specific requirement with a competitive, unrestricted action. The proposed items must be compatible with Vertex model radios and accessories shown below to support an upgrade of an existing system currently in use at Lake Mead National Recreation Area, NV as follows: 1. Six (6) each Portable Radios Vertex Model FD2 VS-P829-DO-5 (GSA PKG-1) VHF 165-175MHz Portable Radio, 512 Channels, LCD Display, Full Keypad - Includes (2 ea) Vertex Model FNB-87LI 2000mAH Li-ion Battery, Vertex Model ATV-10E Antenna and Vertex Model VAC 920B Charger. 2. Six (6) each Vertex Model LCC-820SN3D - Nylon case with metal D swivel clip and 2 1/2" leather belt loop, for 829/VX-P829 Models. 3. Six (6) each Vertex Model FBA-34 Alkaline Battery Case VX-820/920 Series 4. Six (6) each Vertex Model VX EXW5 Extended Warranty 5 years Additional Instructions to Offerors: 1. All responses must be accompanied by a system specification breakdown for cost comparison purposes.2. Only Vertex products/equipment are needed because the current installed system requires the purchase of like kind products at this time to maintain continuity with the system for compatibility and supportability of equipment already in service. 3. No refurbished products/equipment will be considered.4. All products/equipment and services must be P25 compliant DOI tested and approved. Delivery shall be 60 days after receipt of order, FOB Destination. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this procurement. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. Technical acceptability shall be evaluated based upon the contractor's ability to comply with all requirements stated in the subject combined synopsis and soliciation.
