- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Stockpile (NVS) in Riverdale, MD intends to procure syringes for veterinary use. The initial fixed amount will be for 600 feed tube and vial holder syringe kits (300 EA of the 5 mL and 300 EA 2 mL capacity). Also, included in this solicitation will be the capability for surge requirements of syringes. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) CLIN will be awarded for the surge capabilities over a five-year period (base and four option periods). Multiple awards will be considered for the surge requirements. This will be a best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) AG-6395-S-09-0154, will be released on or about August 5, 2009 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. All interested parties may submit responses to this solicitation. NAICS code is 339112. A hard (printed) copy of the solicitation will not be available.
