- FISC San Diego Regional Contracting Department is announcing its intent to issue an Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following material: Tubing Assembly, F/A 18 application, (23) each, P/N: 294E249G12, OEM: GE Avionics, Cage: 07639, FSC: 4710, NAICS: 336413, NSN: 4710-01-256-2955. Used in next higher assembly: 293E775G40, NSN: 6115-01-119-0647. Limited technical information is available for the required part. The Government is seeking quotations on ?New? material only. Quotations based on new unused surplus will be accepted. All applicable Aeronautical/OEM Certificates of Conformance are to be furnished upon delivery. The Government intends to award a Single Award Firm Fixed Price purchase order for the required material. Qualified contractors that can provide this type of material are encouraged to submit a response to the RFQ. This synopsis period is issued from July 30, 2009, 2009 to August 12, 2009.The solicitation period will be issued from Aug. 14, 2009 to Aug. 24, 2009. The RFQ will be available for review and downloading at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov on or about August 14, 2009. The solicitation period closes on COB 1600 PM, PST August 24,2009. The Government intends to make this a 100% small business set -a-side.
