- TITLE: USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) - Provide all labor, material, and other support services to accomplish the October Voyage Repair period, VRA OCT 09. Solicitation N40443-09-T-3055. DESCRIPTION: The Military Sealift Fleet Support Command Ship Support Unit San Diego solicitation requests proposals for USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) VRA OCT 09. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to commence on October 5, 2009 and end on October 30, 2009. This competitive solicitation is restricted to, and 100% set-aside for, small business concerns, NAICS 336611. Offerors must possess either a MSRA or ABRA to be considered for award. Services will be performed while the USNS MERCY is located at Naval Station, 32ND Street, San Diego, CA. Provide all labor, material and services to assist with general ship repairs as identified in the various work items. The USNS MERCY will be available for ship check on 06 August 2009. Interested parties must register intention to attend ship check with Dominick.Fonte@navy.mil, Contracting Officer, and contact Fred Balagot, Port Engineer, (619) 524-9707; Email: Fred.balagot@navy.mil to obtain the Naval Base access request forms for personnel and vehicles. The solicitation, offer spreadsheet, work items and special requirements will be available at: https://www.procurement.msc.navy.mil/procurement/contract/Welcome.jsp and at FEDBIZOPPS. Offerors may register their interest in receiving amendments at the MSC web site. Search on the MSC Web site by solicitation number or under MSFSC SSU San Diego. The anticipated issue date for the solicitation is on or before 30 July 2009. The closing time and date for this solicitation 10:00 AM, local time, 26 August 2009, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation.
