- Work for this project consists of furnishing labor, equipment and materials for the reconstruction of the North Clear Creek Falls Overlook Site – Phase II. Items of work include (but not limited to) Construction staking and quality control; Construction signing and public closure barrier fencing, Demolition and removal concrete curbs and gutters, an concrete access ramp, asphalt cut-out and saw-cut, removing signs and footings, a bulletin board and a table with supports; Erosion control, Clearing and Grubbing, Scarification and seeding of abandoned trails, Excavation (including disposal of unsuitable soil/rock) and embankment; 5 foot and 8 foot width compacted crusher fine surfaced trails with soil solidifier binder, table pad areas, interpretive stations and an overlook, Culverts with end sections, Drainage ditches with stone riprap lining, Hot mix asphalt paving with Micro-slurry seal coat seal and seal coat on joints with Class 6 compacted aggregate sub-grade, pavement marking with paint stripping and access symbols, Topsoil with seeding, mulch and fertilizer over disturbed areas, ditches and abandoned trails, and three Traffic signs with posts. Project Bid Option Items of Work include: Micro-slurry seal-coat with crack joint sealing on the existing entrance road and parking turn-around, three 8 foot accessible picnic tables with concrete footing and anchor chain; two 6 foot contour benches with concrete footings; and three interpretive exhibit frame bases in concrete footings with Government Furnished panels. This project is set aside for HUBZONE CERTIFIED FIRMS. The solicitation for this project will only be made available through the Federal Business Opportunities website - wwwfbo.gov.
