- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska intends to award a sole source purchase order to IRIS INTERNATIONAL, INC.. IRIS INTERNATIONAL, INC. will be providing: Service and maintenance contract for a iQ 200 Automated Microscopy Analyzer and an AX-4280 Automated Urine Chemisty Analyzer. This will be a one year service contract. Includes shipping to Alaska. This will be sole source unless other prospective vendors can provide same item. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 6 August 2009. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 5 August 2009 at 4:00 PM Alaska Standard Time.
