- Under full and open competition, FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia is seeking sources to provide two (2) Medical Grade Bulk Storage Tanks and liquid oxygen for the Material Management Department, National Navy Medical Center, Bethesda Maryland. The contractor will be responsible for providing the tanks, as well as a standing order for filling the tanks. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using subpart 13.5 test program procedures. The award of a firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. Release of the Request for Proposals [RFP] will be via the internet. Interested parties may download the RFP upon its issuance to the following website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Interested parties should frequently monitor the NECO website for any updates and /or amendments. The applicable North American Industry Classification System [NAICS] code is 325120. The anticipated performance period for this procurement will be 01 October 2009 [with a base period of one year] through 30 Sept 2014 [if four one year options are exercised]. Additional information for this requirement will be listed in the solicitation.
