- Description
- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for sole source procurement of commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Section 4202 Clinger Cohen Act of 1996, as set forth in FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intent is to upgrade the existing ScriptPro pharmacy automation equipment with the addition of the ScriptPro Prescription Management System. The Department of Navy (DoN), The National Naval Health Clinic, Great Lakes intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ScriptPro USA, Inc to provide upgrades to the ScriptPro pharmacy automation with the addition of the ScriptPro prescription management system, including the central expanded platform with an interface to both CHCS and the existing Script Pro SP200 robot. ScriptPro is the only known authorized company that can provide ScriptPro equipment and software, as all parts and supplies are specifically designed by ScriptPro for the existing ScriptPro product. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by sending challenges to Cathy Kelly at cathy.kelly@navy.mil. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all challenges to this sole source determination received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract (or purchase order) based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
