- ******CONTACT JANET APPLETON ONLY FOR INFORMATION REGARDING THIS SOLICITATION.INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND IN THE BODY OF THIS NOTICE********This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for ONE (1) TurbomolecularPump with assorted accessories. Through market research it was found thatPfeiffer-Vacuum offers a product that meets all the requirements and specifications. MSFC is seeking quotes on products that are same as or equal to the listed items:1. One (1) each XTEMP Box Chamber BX2430S-SPL123 24x24x30 Box Chamber with 8 ports and2 viewing areas on an extruded aluminum frame2. One (1) each XTEMP (will consider remanufactured) Pfeiffer-Vacuum TMH-260Turbomolecular Pump, DN-100 ISO inlet flange, KF-25 outlet flange, pumping speed 220l/sec. with a Pfeiffer TCP-121 Turbo Pump Controller, and including a 3 M long connectingcable and 115V main cable. For a roughing pump part# ED-R24000001-RP, a Edwards RV5 Rotary vane, 3.7CFM, 115V 50/60HZ, 1Ph vacuum pump withwarranty.3. Three (3) each F/T Rotary, 1/2 shaft 6" flange4. One (1) each ION gauge controller, Power cord, Instruction manual, 115 voltsThis procurement is a total small business set-aside. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to Marshall Space Flight Center will be determined at a later date. Deliveryshall be FOB Destination.Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 8/7/2009 4:00 p.m. and must include,solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), identification of any specialcommercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JUNE 2008), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in theclause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall listthe country of origin.FAR 52.212-4 (MAR 2009), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable.
