Description
The Alexandria VA Medical Center in Alexandria, LA, is conducting this Sources Sought search to locate Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) that can supply medical furniture items needed for the medical center. The items needed must be equal to or better than the items requested. If quoting items other than the exact items requested, a full detail description must be provided so as to determine that the product quoted is or is not equal to or better than the requested items. Suggested manufacturer: Stryker Corporation. Item needed is: Mobile Wall Saver Recliner. With rigid push bar, pull out floor rest, upholstered arms. Model Number: 3500-000-732. Fabric: Vinyl AVANT. Color: Sage Green (8114-000-526). Quantity: 10. This procurement is being conducted in accordance Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items as contained in Title VIII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 Public Law 103-355 and Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care and Information Technology Act of 2006. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. NAICS code for this procurement is 337127-a business is classified as large when total number of employees exceed 500. This Sources Sought Notice is a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Any firm that can supply the item(s) requested is asked to provide a written quote to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
