- In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the 'Act'), Public Law 111-5, this notice is provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), intends to solicit competition and issue one or more task order(s) under established Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract number 06HQCN000X awarded to BERNARD JOHNSON CORPORATION, CTA INCORPORATED, or HEERY INTERNATIONAL INCORPORATED. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THESE INCUMBENT CONTRACTORS. The original IDIQ contract awards were made on a competitive basis. The task order(s) to be competed and issued against the aforementioned contracts is for architectural and engineering services for the following requirements: Upgrade Fire Alarm System and Install Fire Suppression System at the Tunison Laboratory of Aquatic Science in Cortland, NY (DM0004A); Rehab Buildings/Structures at the Tunison Laboratory of Aquatic Science in Cortland, NY (DM0043A); Repair, Correct, and Replace Electrical Distribution Service at the Great Lakes Science Center, Ann Arbor, MI (DM0040A); Upgrade Fire Alarm and Notification System in the Tight Isolation Building and Install Fire Suppression System in the Garage at the National Wildlife Health Center, Madison, WI (DM0013A); and Install Fire Suppression System in Segments A, B, C, G, and Storage Building at the Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center, La Crosse, WI (DM0005A). Full or partial funding for the requirements to be completed by the contractor(s) will utilize funds provided by the Act.
