Description

THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. See Note 22. The Naval Air Systems Command; Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) (AIR 2.5.1.3), Patuxent River, MD 20670-1127 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with L-3 Communications Titan Corporation, FOUR GREENTREE CENTER, 13000 Route 73, Suite 400, Marlton, NJ, 08053, which provides systems engineering support to AIR 4.1 Aircraft Division. This is an interim effort to provide services to AIR-4.1 pending a competitive award. This requirement will have a ceiling value not to exceed $10, 500,856.00, and the anticipated number of man-hours is 111,813 provided that all options are exercised. The anticipated period of performance will be from 1 September 2009 through 30 December 2009 with two one month options. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10, U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
