- Description
- The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center has an upcoming requirement for grounds maintenance and snow removal. The anticipated start date for services is October 1, 2009. The FAA will issue a one year base contract, with four one year options. This requirement will be a firm fixed price contract. This requirement is a small business set aside, under NAICS code 561730 (size standard: $7 million). A mandatory site visit will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2009. Interested parties must register with the Contracting Officer via email to Lori.McLaughlin@faa.gov before 2 pm on August 5, 2009. Please include contractor name, name of person(s) attending and telephone number in the email. All site visit attendees will meet at the Security Operations Building (SOC) no later than 9:00 local time on August 6, 2009. A Certification of Non-Disclosure is posted as an attachment to this announcement, and must be completed by each attendee and turned in to the Contracting Officer at the beginning of the site visit. The Solicitation and all supporting documents will be available on the date of the site visit. No questions will be permitted before the site visit. Only attendees to the site visit will be permitted to propose. This announcement does not obligate the government to issue an award for this requirement.
