- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.201, for Full and Open Competition after exclusion of sources and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Office of Surface Mining, Western Region, 1999 Broadway, Denver, Colorado, 80202 has a requirement to procure the following item: Day Support Extension w/NBD on-site Response The Government intends to award a sole source contract to:IODYNAMIX, INC, 1200 Diamond Circle Ste F, Lafayette, CO 80026 The Government will consider all responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties should submit queries to this requirement in writing to Dawn Trudeau 303-293-5059 (dtrudeau@osmre.gov) by close of business July 3, 2009. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
