- Description
- The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives, is seeking proposals from a contractor to provide "green" environmentally-friendly dry cleaning, laundering, basic alteration services, and supplies to the House community, including Members, staff, and visitors. The House will provide a storefront for the acceptance of items. The offeror will do all the dry cleaning, laundering and the majority of basic alteration services off-site. The successful contractor will have the capability and expertise to operate and manage at a high level of service, be flexible to change, implement and offer new ideas, and provide services and supplies that are environmentally friendly. Solicitation questions must be submitted via email to Christine.stewart@mail.house.gov by Thursday, August 20, 2009. Questions and answers will be published in an amendment to the solicitation.
