- This project consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment to install new stairs, platforms, rails, jib crane, and walk board assembly located in Building 430, Heater Pit Room, (Room 009) at the AEDC Tunnel 9 facility in White Oak, Silver Spring Maryland. This work may include very minor lead paint interfaces with the existing structure requiring compliance with the lead removal section of the specification. Performance period is 100 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. Invitation for Bid will be available on or about 14 August 2009. Bid opening date will be on or about 15 September 2009. Construction Magnitude: Between $100,000 and $250,000. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of IFB Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
