- The work under this project consists of HAZMAT online reporting services for Yellowtail, Canyon Ferry, Fresno, Sherburne, and Tiber Dams located throughout Montana. This requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). For this acquisition, the North American Industrial Classification System Code is 541690 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), the Bureau of Reclamation anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations with HAAS TCM Inc for the MAXCOM System to be provided to the Montana Area Office Dam Facilities, Montana. The product, MAXCOM System, is a proprietary product that is wholly owned by HAAS TCM Group, Inc. This announcement is for online access for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by 13 August 2009 at 1400 hours. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. All interest received on or before the closing of the intent to sole source will be evaluated by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
