- This notice is a sources sought notice. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research to identify potential sources. Price quotes are not being requested but will be accepted as additional information. DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard Port Security Unit 301 requests information on the availability of body armor accessories for the Modular Armor Carrier-Releasable. Port Security Unit 301 currently fields the MAC-R body armor system for its personnel. The accessories requested are throat, collar, shoulder, and groin protectors, as well as the soft armor inserts.
