- Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to completely prepare site for building opeerations including demolition and removal of existing equipment and upgrading of existing fire suppression and electrical systems, plus mechanical and utility systems for the construction of a new front entrance of building #2 at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The work shall be done in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings provided. The completion time for this procurement is 150 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Poceed. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System)code is 236220; the project is estimated to be between $500,000 - $1,000,000. The IFB includingall bid documents, specifications, and drawings will be available for download at no charge from the Federal Register Business website (FedBizopps.gov)on or about August 21, 2009. It is the responsibility of the bidders to access that website and obtain copies of all documents. The bid opening date is tentatively September 21, 2009 @2:00pm. All inquiries regarding this procurement must be made in writing to the Contract Specialist, preferably by e-mail; this project is set aside for SDVOSB (Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Small Business) only.
