- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE TO CONTRACTORS UNDER MACC N62473-07-D-2002 (NAVFAC SW00045) SOUTHERN CAL COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL GROUP.NAVFAC SW00045 MACC Group 45: N62473-08-D-8607, R.A. Burch Construction Inc.; N62473-08-D-8608, Douglas E. Barnhart Inc.; N62473-08-D-8609, SOLTEK Pacific Construction Co.; N62473-08-D-8610, Straub Construction Inc.; N62473-08-D-8611, Harper Construction Inc.; N62473-08-D-8612, T.B. Penick & Sons Inc. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing repairs to approximately 60,000 gsf of existing historic building 55, built in 1939 at Naval Base San Diego. Work shall include renovation and repairs to two floors, repairs to deteriorated architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. Renovations and repair to exterior sustainment including windows and doors to match historical building style. Project will include some demolition to support flexible interior configurations, current design standards, and life safety code requirements. Sustainment renovation and repair work will include mechanical air conditioning, at secure controlled access areas, computer/kiosk room, and telecom closets. The project also includes renovation of Command Suite offices and bathrooms. Repairs and renovations shall provide consolidated spaces for the Littoral Combat Ship Squadron (LCSRON) Headquarters, Command Suites, Command administrative spaces and ship core crew spaces.************************************************************The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $33.5M. "Estimated cost: Between $10,000,000 to $25,000,000." This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. The proposed contract action is for construction for which the Government intends to solicit and award without discussion under the authority of FAR Part 15. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
