This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement has only one responsible source, Spika Welding, Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A). The solicitation number is FA811009R0005, for this Request for Proposal (RFP) Contract Line Items will be set up as follows: 0001AA 1 ea Modified B-2 Windshield Stand 0001AB 2 ea Windshield Stand Effort is for the design, fabrication and delivery of (3) comprehensive modular B-2 windshield maintenance work stands for use in windshield maintenance at the aircraft repair docks. The contractor shall provide for the complete fabrication, inspection, testing, technical data, packaging and other incidentals necessary to provide (3) such work stands. CLIN 0001AA: The contractor shall construct the stand and incorporate the following enhancements. •1. Provide 8 ea tie down points (four low and four high) •2. Provide a more robust tow bar •3. Chemically treat the tow bar attach point on the stand for corrosion protection The contractor shall install all wheels on the stand and stair unit. In lieu of crating, the stand shall be shrink wrapped with plastic so that all areas of the stand are covered except for the wheels and lift points. All corners to be covered in a high strength durable foam under the shrink wrap. The contractor shall load the stand on the government provided trailer for shipment and provide any tie down material as required for safe transport. Unload stands and assemble for operation •3. Perform functionality tests •4. Provide user training as required to Northrop personnel (one time @ delivery of first stand) •5.
