- This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about 8/14/09 to Replace the HVAC System, Building 92. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work to Upgrade the HVAC Systems at the Building 92 Recreation Building as required by drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, asbestos abatement, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, plumbing, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. The NAICS code is 238220. The small business standard is $14 M. The cost range is $1,000,000 to $2,000,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
