- DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to procure a CT7 Stand for HC-144 Training/Maintenance Aircraft Engine. This proposed procurement is for a service for which the government intends to solicit on Competitive Open Market basis. SCOPE: Item supports HC-144A Aircraft (maintenance) Training. The US Coast Guard needs an Engine and Propeller Gearbox Support Cart- used for locally fixing and moving the aircraft engine assembly as well as removal and installation of the propeller from the power plant. Estimated Length: Between 95in to 110in Estimated Width: Between 45in to 55 in The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit on a competitive basis. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration and submit a Cost Proposal by 5:00 pm, ET, August 10th,2009. Offerors may either submit one copy of the quote to MOHAMED FILALI, USCG Headquarters Support Command, Code A-3, Room B411, 2100 Second St. SW, Washington, DC 20593 by mail, fax (202-372-4905) or email. Electronic transmissions to Mohamed.Filali@uscg.mil are acceptable, but must be timely. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to ensure the proposal is received by the date and time shown above. Evaluation Criteria: Award based on lowest cost technically acceptable.
