- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to GE Healthcare Bioscience, 800 Centennial Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08854-3911 for continued yearly maintenance on the following equipment for the period 09/01/2009-08/31/2010: Aktaexplorer 100, serial 01257127, gold service; Aktaexplorer 100, serial 01257128, gold service; Typhoon Trio w/Workstation, serial 01217812, gold service; and (2)BC T100 Processing Unit, serial CN12242, gold service. Gold service is unlimited corrective repair (travel, parts, labor) and one preventive maintenance visit per year. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
