- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912PL-09-D-0036-0001. This contract action will be accomplished by using other than competitive procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program 15 U.S.C.637 and in accordance with FAR 19.805-1(b)(2). It is the intent of the Government to award a task order under an existing IDIQ Contract. The task order is firm fixed price. Alberto Luna Construction, Inc., Ojai, CA. This is not a solicitation. The Los Angeles District has a requirement to repair Barracks 98 at Ft. Irwin, CA. Work consists of the following tasks: -Bathroom repairs include installing new bathroom fixtures, bathtub and medicine cabinet. -Bedroom repairs include install new doors and cypher lock system, replace ceiling tiles and VCT flooring. -Repair existing bedroom exhaust system. -Construct new kitchenette area. -Repair HVAC system to include any mold and mildew abatement. -Upgrade the electrical, fire support and telecommunication systems. The work will be at Fort Irwin, California.
