- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912PL-07-D-0028-0004. This contract action will be accomplished by using other than competitive procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program 15 U.S.C.637 and in accordance with FAR 19.805-1(b)(2). It is the intent of the Government to award a task order under an existing IDIQ Contract. The task order is firm fixed price. DWG & Associates, Inc. of Lompoc, CA. This is not a solicitation. The Los Angeles District has a requirement to upgrade the existing gate and fence at Coast Gate in order to provide increased anti-terrorism and force protection measures. The existing fence and gate will be upgraded with the addition of a cable barrier. The cable barrier will extend approximately 270 feet west of the existing fence in order to increase the difficulty of reduce the risk of drivers unintentionally running through the gate. Coast Gate is located on West Ocean Avenue approximately 500 feet south of the Amtrak Station entrance. The work will be at Vandenberg AFB, CA.
