- This is a notice of intent to procure a single source contract with Osmun Music Inc, 5 Forest Street, Arlington MA 02476 for the purchase of 4 each Engelbert Schmid Double Horns and the trade in of 4 used horns. The contract will be awarded pursuant to FAR 6.301(a) “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Osmun Music Inc is the only known vendor who can provide this specific brand and model of Double Horn required for the 35th ID Band in Olathe Kansas. Interested persons who feel they can provide the same exact brand and model of Double horns that are required may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Convincing evidence of your ability to provide the exact brand and model of Double Horns and your response to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 PM CDT, August 13th, 2009. Any notifications should include a price quote for these horns and the options specified below and a trade in allowance for the horns that are to be traded in. The specific requirement is: 4 each - ES1 Engelbert Schmid Full Bb/F Double Horns each having the following options: Detachable Bell, Yellow Brass, Lacquer Coating for Full Double Horn, 2 Water Keys, Adjustable Hand Rest, and Flight Case (Black) and shipping to 35th Infantry Division Band, 1601 W Hwy 56, Olathe KS 66061. No substitutions will be accepted and the German Manufacturer’s warranty must apply. The horns must be obtained directly from the manufacturer. In addition, any interested person must be able to accept and provide a trade in allowance for two Conn 8D’s and two King Eroicas. Any changes to this posting shall be authorized only by the Contracting Officer and will be issued by written addendum. Convincing evidence of your ability to provide these double horns, all options, and the trade-ins must be provided NLT August 13th 2009 at 12:00 PM.
