- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912PL-09-D-0039-0001. This contract action will be accomplished by using other than competitive procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program 15 U.S.C.637 and in accordance with FAR 19.805-1(b)(2). It is the intent of the Government to award a task order under an existing IDIQ Contract. The task order is firm fixed price. Onsite Construction & Engineering, Inc., Nipomo, CA. This is not a solicitation. The Los Angeles District has a requirement to replace an existing 10/12.5 MVA, ONAN/ONAF, 69kV 11.95Y/6.9 kV substation transformer of the same rating with a new stainless steel main tank, with stainless steel radiators and an automatic load tap changer (LTC) with stainless steel tap changer tank. The Transformer shall be provided complete with automatic load tap changer, radiators, arresters, nitrogen charging system and all appurtenances and wiring for a complete and operational system. The project also includes demolition and disposal of the existing transformer and installation and testing of the new transformer per NETA ATS-2007. The work will be at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.
